The Black Rapid FastenR-3 (FR-3) is the point of contact between your camera and your R-Strap. It’s machined from a solid stock of 304 stainless steel, and has an integral D-Ring for coupling to the R-Strap’s ConnectR. The FR-3 uses a high-grade rubber compression washer to ensure a snug, positive connection with your camera. Switching to the FR-3 offers you more comfort when shooting in portrait, and a sense of security knowing your camera is fastened tight to your R-Strap.
